Roles and responsibilities in a PreBilt implementation

Customers

Customers play a pivotal role in shaping the project's vision and ensuring its alignment with business objectives. Their responsibilities include:

  • Clearly defining project requirements and contributing to specifications

  • Provision of relevant transaction test data in all environments

  • Availability of Subject Matter Experts ("SME") to join workshops/meetings to support design

  • Participating in regular progress meetings and reviews to offer critical feedback

  • Ensuring timely communication of changes to project scope or priorities

  • Access to hardware (e.g., devices or tablets) for delivery if required

  • As agreed with the project team, TCT or a Partner cannot start a project until access to the customer SAP systems - with the necessary authorisations and developer keys where required - is provided in reasonable time ahead of the start date

  • Customer to provide suitable infrastructure such as wifi capability to utilize PreBilt functionality throughout the business premises where PreBilt will be deployed

  • Advise on planned SAP system outages or freeze periods (such as month end)

  • Customer system adhere to our basic pre-requisites (e.g., SAP ECC EHP5 or above)

  • Providing access to necessary resources, such as domain experts and data

  • Validating deliverables to ensure they meet the agreed-upon expectations

  • Licensing responsibilities

  • Share details of systems roadmap/strategy to understand customer requirements

  • Inform TCT in good time when you wish to upgrade, as upgrades are free but may require TCT support depending on your setup.

Referral Partners

If a referral partner is not involved in the project, this would be TCT.

  • Share PreBilt understanding

  • Market PreBilt

  • Share customer insights and leverage customer relationships to support PreBilt winning and expanding in the customer business

  • Demo and understand capability and position in market

Reseller Partners

Note

If a reseller partner is not involved in the project, this would be TCT.

  • Be aware of system pre-requisites and ensure that customer is aware of these

  • Collaborating with customer and PreBilt to design and implement solutions to their specification

  • Complete assigned implementation tasks

  • Providing technical and domain-specific expertise to support project goals

  • Ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and compliance requirements from The Config Team

  • Delivering on agreed-upon milestones in a timely and quality-focused manner for the customers

  • Offering insights and innovation to enhance project outcomes back to The Config Team.

Platinum Reseller Partners

  • Be aware of system pre-requisites and ensure that customer is aware of these

  • Collaborating with customer to design and implement solutions to their specification

  • Deploy, install and configure PreBilt in customer system

  • Providing technical and domain-specific expertise to support project goals

  • Ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and compliance requirements from The Config Team

  • Delivering on agreed-upon milestones in a timely and quality-focused manner for the customers

  • Offering insights and innovation to enhance project outcomes back to The Config Team

  • If experienced, then ability to enhance the product

The Config Team during Referral and Reseller projects

The Config Team is responsible for driving project execution and coordination. Their responsibilities include on Referral and Reseller projects:

  • Project management, including timeline creation, resource allocation, and risk assessment

  • Overseeing the development and implementation of the software solution

  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between all parties

  • Ensuring the quality and reliability of the deliverables through rigorous testing

  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance post-deployment

  • When appropriate, identify work packages and assignments to be completed by Resellers

  • AMS

  • Documentation

  • Software base

  • Technical expertise

Collaboration Framework

To ensure seamless collaboration, the following framework will be applied:

  • Regularly scheduled meetings involving all stakeholders to review progress and address concerns

  • Centralised communication platforms to share updates and resources

  • Transparency in decision-making and changes to project scope

  • Clear documentation of roles, timelines, and responsibilities

  • Conflict resolution strategies to address disagreements proactively
