User Guide
Note
This user guide refers to PreBilt transactions beginning 'PB2_' and details the standard process without additional features or enhancements. You should copy these transactions with a different prefix to maintain a backup and protect the originals.
App Usage report set-up
Configuration can be accessed using transaction /TCTM/WM_USAGE_CFG.

Reporting
Transaction /TCTM/WM_APP_USAGE can be used to display and delete data.

Select the relevant run mode to display or delete.
Note
Deleting records is only available from PreBilt v5.8.0 onwards.
Once the records are deleted they cannot be recovered so authorisation to this transaction should be limited. The report can also be run in a batch job to delete records on a periodic basis.
The following selection criteria are available:
Warehouse Number
Transaction – PreBilt Transaction
User – SAP Username
Date – Posting Date
Action - The Actions as defined above.
When in display mode, a specific layout can additionally be created in advance and selected as required, similar to any other ALV report.
The report then displays all actions recorded as configured along with date, time, user and any relevant objects and keys. Examples of those might include PI Document number, Delivery number, Transfer Order and Item numbers.
Downloading the report
To download the app usage data, tap the ‘Download ZIP’ button, enter a suitable file name for the ZIP file and select a file location.
Using this feature, data will be downloaded in an anonymised form which includes the userids and the document numbers) and can be accessed with an appropriate spreadsheet application.
The ZIP file contains 3 CSV files:
Summary data – this contains the details of what was used as the selection.
Usage data – this is the raw data.
Warehouse Summary – this show a user count for each warehouse in the selection.
The data from the report can also be downloaded using the normal features of an SAP ALV report. It will not be anonymised using those features.
Deleting data
It is possible to delete the log entries if data volume is an issue in your SAP system. The transaction /TCTM/WM_APP_USAGE can be run with "Delete data" mode selected. The entries that match the selection criteria will be removed from the database after a warning popup is accepted.
The ABAP program linked to this transaction can be setup in a background job with suitable variant to run periodic deletions of old data if required.
Warning
Once the log entries have been deleted it is not possible with PreBilt tools to recover them so proceed with caution when deleting.
Analytics app integration
The app usage report is an ALV grid which means that it is possible to configure ALV tiles in the Analytics App – 651. Analytics app transaction PB2_ANALYTICS_PB_001 is delivered as part of the core package as an example.

More information to aid with configuration of these tiles is provided in the configuration guide for Analytics (App 651).
