Exceptions

This section outlines the processes that the Serial Numbers app does not currently cover:

• Verification of serial numbers that have already been maintained on the preceding document:

  • Outbound delivery line when picking items

  • Inbound delivery line item or purchase order line item when receiving stock

  • Handling units assigned to the inbound delivery

• Capture of serial numbers when partially processing a delivery line item.

• Physical inventory counting of warehouse managed (WM) serial number managed items (HUM and Non-HUM).

• Display a list of serial numbers that exist for the material or material/batch that are managed in an inventory managed (IM) storage location

• Display a list of serial numbers that have been assigned to a handling unit in a warehouse managed (WM) / handling unit managed (HUM) storage location.
