In transaction /TCTM/WM_CFG_D, enter a PreBilt transaction code in the 'Transaction Code' field to access or modify its app master data.
The ‘Warehouse Number’ field is optional. If left blank, the system will display entries for all warehouses. To filter the results, enter a specific warehouse number.
Click the ‘Execute’ icon to see the configuration options for the selected transaction.
If the ‘Display<> Change’ icon is selected at this stage, it will be possible to edit the values for each configuration option as required.
The default settings will apply to all warehouses, unless a set of warehouse specific values are maintained.
To display or edit a particular configuration option, click on the appropriate 'Default Settings' button.
To create specific settings for a particular warehouse, the warehouse should be added into the app master data and then its entries maintained.
Select ‘Add Warehouse’ to add a column of entries for a chosen warehouse.
There are options to create blank entries to start from scratch, copy from the default settings or copy from a previously maintained warehouse.
Copying from the default settings is the recommended starting point for creating warehouse specific entries.
If warehouse specific settings are no longer required, and the default settings are suitable, that warehouse can be removed from the app master data settings.
Select a warehouse column and press ‘Remove Warehouse’ to delete those entries.
It is possible to copy all the app master data settings from one transaction to another. This is useful when a copy of a transaction is made in the configuration. The original transaction’s setting can be copied and requirements in the new transaction can be subsequently changed.
Enter the transaction code to be updated and press the ‘Copy Entries From…’ icon to copy the app master data entries from another transaction.
In the pop-up, enter the transaction that the entries are to be copied from and press Enter.
To remove all the app master data settings from a transaction, enter the transaction code and press the ‘Delete Entries’ icon.
App master data can be downloaded and uploaded from transaction /TCTM/WM_CFG_D. This enables you to maintain the AMD in Notepad, which can be especially useful for mass change using find and replace functionality.
Enter the transaction to be downloaded in to the 'Transaction Code' field and click the 'Download Entries' button. Save the file.
To upload a file, enter the transaction to be updated in to the 'Transaction Code' field and click the 'Upload Entries' button.
The data for all existing configuration options that are referenced in the file are replaced.
It is possible to view changes made in AMD. This is useful when it comes to troubleshooting issues that may have occurred in PreBilt.
In transaction /TCTM/WM_CFG_D, enter the transaction code to be reviewed in the 'Transaction Code' field and click the 'Changes' icon.
Any changes will be displayed by configuration element with the last change user, date and time.
Selecting a line and clicking the 'Display Changes' icon will show a detailed report of the changes made.
Alternatively, you can run SAP transaction /TCTM/WM_CFG_D_LOG to obtain a report of all changes since a particular date for a selection of app transactions. This can also be setup in a batch job if required to provide periodic reporting.
