Functionality
The PreBilt 2.0 base framework provides flexibility by allowing configuration for various barcode specifications enabling enhanced ease of data input. The primary purpose of the Barcode Decoder app is to identify issues and validate the data within barcode formats that are configured in the Base Framework Barcode Type Definition.
The functionality of decoding complex barcodes applies to all apps featuring the Smartscan option. To determine the possibility of incorporating this functionality into other PreBilt transactions, refer to the configuration guide specific to that particular application.
PreBilt is designed to seamlessly integrate with industry-standard barcodes, even accommodating scenarios where the application identifier makes use of partial subdivisions. Additionally, the system supports various types of barcodes beyond this, ensuring a comprehensive approach to barcode compatibility. Types of barcodes included:
Code 39
Code 128
UPC (Universal Product Code)
EAN (International Article Number)
QR Code (Quick Response Code)
DataMatrix
GS1-128 (formerly known as UCC/EAN-128)
Non-GS1 compliant barcodes (Fixed data)
