Field lists

Field lists can be used to create a unique and static list that does not rely on data from SAP.

These list options should then be referenced against the relevant field in the ‘Source List Option’ of the Detail Screen Configuration.

A LIST configuration option needs to be created in configuration with the data type ‘F Fixed Key List Config’ before you can reference and set the values in the app master data.

The naming convention is that the configuration option should always end with ‘_LIST’.

Examples are:

• QUEUE_LIST

• PRINTER_LIST

The list is created in AMD with the required key (the value that should be used in the field) and a description that suits. This description is what is displayed to the user and can be different from the usual SAP description.

Note

The field does not need a class maintained against it to activate the list logic and will work with the ‘Input Type’ set to DRP, CMB or CBM.
