v5.5.0 release notes
Here are the enhancements, updates and bug fixes made in PreBilt IM/WM/StRM v5.5.0.
Multi-language support
For the PreBilt Standalone Edition (PSE) platform, it is now possible to select the logon language. This makes PreBilt more accessible, improves usability, and helps reduce the risk of errors, as well as making PreBilt more flexible in global deployments.

Gauge tiles for Analytics
Analytics has a new tile type showing the KPI in the form of a gauge rather than only the number. This looks good aesthetically as well as giving far greater visibility to thresholds and progress which can help with motivation.

Further updates and enhancements
Base framework
Thousands separators now appear consistently for quantity fields using supported numeric exits or input types.
The
DECconversion exit now rounds values correctly instead of truncating. The field class /TCTM/WM_APP_FIELD_VERIFY has been enhanced so that the “verify” field will automatically be supressed/hidden if the field it is linked to is not displayed on the screen. In addition there is a clearer error message if the linked field is not set in the AMD with an input type and, optionally, set to read-only.
SmartScan barcode decoding now reflects the SAP user's decimal format settings, including when a decimal point appears directly in the barcode or in GS1 AIs.
“Move All” logic fixed when used with Alternative UoM in stock movement apps.
SmartScan barcode decoding respects user-specific SAP decimal settings for both dot and comma notations. GS1 AI barcodes with embedded decimals also display correctly.
Conversion exits work across app transactions.
Selecting “31st December” as the "To Date" no longer rolls into next year.
Key lists with only two entries are now displayed better.
Goods Receipt (External)
After posting an unpacked inbound delivery, the app now returns to the selection screen.
Stock Movements
“Move All” with UoM conversions now functions as expected.
TO confirmation selection now handles ranges for TO Creation Date.
Improved handling of Pick HU creation for transfer orders linked to multiple deliveries (e.g., delivery groups), ensuring smoother processing in grouped scenarios.
SU Type entered in Bin-to-Bin transfers are passed when jumping from Stock Enquiry.
Physical Inventory
WM Adhoc PI app no longer throws an error if “No NR QI” number range is missing.
WM recount documents now support proper item selection.
Stock Enquiry
A new
DECIMALconversion exit can be used for theQTY_SUMfield in Stock Enquiry, allowing custom number formatting in AMD.Ensured accurate display of Combined WM/IM view when only a single quant exists in WM, so the layout reflects the data as expected.
After performing a transaction that removes all stock, users are returned to the Stock Enquiry selection screen instead of seeing a “No Data Found” popup.
General Postings
Updated WBS element display logic to support entries over 16 characters, ensuring consistent formatting with improved conversion handling.
Refined basket handling so that when bypassing
INPUT_*_POST, the basket now clears and returns to the selection screen as expected.
Picking and Packing
Selecting by sales order now displays a proper error if no deliveries are found, instead of returning all system deliveries.
Improved batch split handling for IM picking when batches are manually added to the delivery.
Aligned quantity calculations for deliveries not using the base unit of measure.
Document Capture
Signature image files are now saved with the “SIG” prefix to help distinguish them from other images.
If capture mode is blank and multiple images are taken, the app no longer progresses to a blank display screen.
Analytics
Large numbers in tiles are now displayed using compact UI-friendly formats like “10.5K” or “1.2M”.
Tiles can be grouped into sections using
T_GROUP_LABEL, their order can be fixed usingNO_TILE_SORT, and totals in bar charts can be formatted usingCONV_EXITinALV_DETAILS.Date conversion exits now work in
ALV_SORTandALV_SRC_COLUMNS.ALPHA exits require proper field names (e.g.,
ALPHA,LIFNR) to show source data correctly. Results can be sorted in both ascending and descending order.
Unique item counting in analytics datasets now functions correctly—see Configuration Guide for setup.
