Note

This section should be completed in the normal customising client or applicable client, where the solution will be tested in Dev, QA, PRD etc (not Client 000) This section needs repeating in each system as it is not transportable.

PreBilt makes use of a standard HTTP connection for communication with your SAP system, which is delivered as an ICF service. The SICF service is delivered as part of the base package transports and so should not need to be created manually. This service must be activated in each system to be connected to via the PreBilt Standalone Platform.

To activate the service:

1

Maintain services

Enter transaction SICF, leave the defaults at the selection screen and execute the report titled ‘Maintain Services’.

2

Activate the service

On the ‘Maintain Services’ screen, expand the entries in ‘Virtual Hosts / Services’ to display the ‘default_host -> tctm_wm node.

Right-click on the relevant ‘tctm_wm’ service and select ‘Activate Service’ from the context menu.

Click ‘Yes’ with sub-levels on the confirmation dialog that appears.

3

Test the service

Test the service by again right-clicking on it and choosing ‘Test Service’ from the context menu. A browser window should open displaying the value ‘10’.

It is recommended that a secure HTTP connection is used (and assuming the SAP system already has HTTPS enabled) the SAP host address can be edited to replace the HTTP protocol and port number. For example can be replaced with where the port number is the relevant port for HTTPS from the SAP system in question.
