Note

This user guide refers to PreBilt transactions beginning 'PB2_' and details the standard process without additional features or enhancements. You should copy these transactions with a different prefix to maintain a backup and protect the originals.

The Generic Printing app will normally be accessed from other apps. This guide will detail how to use the app when accessed directly.

This section covers transaction PB2_PRINTING.

Selection

Enter the required selection fields which would generally include, at a minimum, 'Application', 'Processing mode' and appropriate document number.

Default or override the printer (Output Device) if required.

Checking 'Print immediately' via the checkbox before pressing 'Select' will print the output without viewing the item details, otherwise you will proceed to the list or item screen depending on what is selected.

One document for printing

Where there is only a single document for printing, you will see details of this document. Update the printer (Output Device) if required and tap the printer icon to print the document.

More than one document for printing

Where there are multiple outputs to be printed, these can be selected individually or all together by tapping the 'Select all' button at the center of the screen footer. Select the printer icon to print the documents.

You will receive a confirmation message that the selected documents have been printed.
