Exceptions

The following processes are currently out of scope for the app:

• Creation of new batches.

• Adding stock of a material or batch onto quality or blocked stock type (IM).

• Tolerance checks when a count with differences is entered.

• Reassignment of counts to a different counter.

• Adding of new handling units during count.

• Recounts cannot be created, however they can be counted when using WM, if the recount is created in the SAP GUI.

• Counting of inventory managed (IM) handling units.

• Recounts in IM.

• Counting of nested handling units.

• Summary counting (of total number of pallets in the storage bin) of WM bulk storage bins.

• Entering a reason for movement when posting differences on an inventory managed PI count document.

• Ad hoc creation of a PI document for multiple storage bins.

• Ad hoc creation of a PI document for multiple storage locations (IM).

• Check for planned count during ad hoc count of a storage bin, with the user not able to automatically process the planned count if there is already a PI document blocking the storage bin for inventory.

• Materials maintained with split valuation.

• Counting of serial numbers when PI counting in WM.

• Count of material / batch / special stock combinations, where there is not any stock. In these cases, SAP transaction MI31 should be used to create counts.

• Clearing of differences in IM for WM Physical Inventory documents (LI21).

• Creating a WM adhoc count using the special stock indicator and number as the selection criteria.
