Functionality

The app relates to the standard SAP transactions:

The following standard functionality is in scope for Picking:

• Generic functionality:

  • Selection possible by sales order number, purchase order (for stock transport orders), delivery, shipment and route.

  • Selection possible by picking dates and/or delivery dates.

  • Picking of inventory and warehouse managed stock on a single delivery, according to the picking storage location and the delivery item’s item category.

  • System guided mixed mode picking, allowing a user to pick items across multiple deliveries, grouping them without using SAP delivery group functionality.

  • Flexible sorting of deliveries and delivery items.

  • Picking of batch managed materials.

  • Display of delivery header and delivery item texts.

  • Picking with differences.

  • Display and/or update of delivery and/or shipment header information.

  • Setting of delivery types that can be processed by the transaction. This is controlled by AMD settings.

  • Supports checking to ensure that a shipment’s status is ‘Planned’ if using shipments. This is controlled by AMD settings.

  • Delivery header and item locking.

  • Capturing comments, images and signatures and adding them to the outbound delivery.

  • Viewing files attached to the outbound delivery.

• Warehouse managed picking:

  • Update of the delivery with the pick handling unit.

  • Adding the packaging material to a delivery line (subject to SAP configuration and item category settings of the packaging material).

  • Check of user’s queue when calling stock movements transaction.

• Inventory managed picking:

  • Picking from storage bin assigned in material master.

  • Source data verification including material, batch and storage bin.

  • Integration with IM Bin Management.

  • Capturing serial numbers.

  • Update of the delivery quantity to the pick quantity.

• Transfer order confirmation – WM Stock Movements app (510).

• Packing onto a Pick HU via transfer order confirmation – WM Stock Movements app (510).

• Capturing of images, comments and signatures – Document Capture app (602).

• Serial Number capture – Serial Numbers app (603).

• Picking from inventory managed bins - IM Bin Management (608 and 702).

The app can be configured to work with different barcode specifications for ease of data input.
