Material search sequence

Material search sequence MATERIAL_SEARCH_SEQ is typically in apps where material numbers can be selected and entered. It allows the SAP material number to be found using a sequence of alternative entries.

It will be set up in configuration as a String List with only the following values permitted:

• M – search by material, with conversion exit MATN1.

• E – search by EAN, with conversion exit EAN11.

• D – search by material description with no conversion exit.

• B – search by IM storage bin no conversion exit is required.

The String List should be created with a ‘Sequence’ and ‘Conversion Exit’ column.
