Overview

App Master Data ("AMD") is the second requirement (after app configuration) required for PreBilt to work correctly. It is typically loaded independently into each system in the SAP landscape but can be loaded into the lowest system and transported through to Production.

The AMD governs the features and screen flow for each transaction and includes:

• Screen definitions and controls

• Transaction functionality options

• Technical linkage to a specific app class

• Maintainable text descriptions for text IDs used in screen field labels

• References to other transactions, enabling navigation (jumps) to other apps when supported

The transaction /TCTM/WM_CFG_D is used to maintain AMD for each transaction and provides various features to streamline this process.
