Image display and capture
Image retrieval and display is fully customisable, pulling images from an SAP repository or external links. The process dynamically matches filenames (e.g. MATERIAL_UOM.png
) to front-end data like Material and Unit of Measure. PreBilt for EWM supports device cameras for capturing product images. Images saved to an SAP repository can be reviewed and approved by supervisors via the warehouse monitor. This framework also supports custom applications, such as documenting damage during goods receipt.
Improved exception and function code management
Exception codes are entered through a list that includes descriptive aids to assist the operator, while function codes feature configurable icons and sub-descriptions, providing clear visual aids for improved usability.
Improved menu management
Configurable icons and sub descriptions provide visual aids.
Improved screen layout
Screen layouts in mobile transaction steps are now highly customisable through configuration, without the need for ABAP development. Objects can be positioned freely, unwanted fields hidden, and hint text added for better usability. Text properties like size, color, and format can also be tailored. Configurations can vary by warehouse, location, or role, managed through Display, Presentation, and Personalization Profiles, ensuring streamlined and user-specific interfaces.
Key performance indicators
KPI tiles derived via EWM Measurement Services or CDS Analytics can be positioned within any transaction step, or as a separate transaction, displayed on a dashboard.
Translation tool
The translation tool allows PreBilt configuration objects, including field labels, hint texts, menu sub-descriptions, and function code descriptions, to be exported as text files by language. These files can be uploaded and saved to transports to add or update texts for additional languages.
Gamification
The gamification frontend integrates with the backend via warehouse monitor nodes to deliver status updates and pop-up notifications through the PreBilt interface. It supports individual challenges and competitions, ranked by task performance or predefined thresholds. Administration and monitoring allow setup, maintenance, and metric definition, with criteria such as process type, task code, and storage types used to check game validit
Communication Hub
Communication Hub (operator messaging) enables two way communication between the warehouse office and PreBilt operators and also operator to operator messaging with PreBilt.
Voice
The PreBilt voice engine can evaluate any group of fields in a logical step / screen and, for each field, the system can trigger a specific command such as a spoken prompt to provide instructions to the operator (e.g. go to a storage bin, scan a product, or pick a certain quantity), or a prompt requesting a spoken input by the operator (e.g. confirm a storage bin check digit or pick quantity).
