Translations

User-facing text elements in PreBilt for EWM can be translated into in any languages in the SAP language packs. The translation process requires the localisation of field labels, hint texts, menu descriptions and function codes. A screen field becomes relevant for translation if the "new label" field is active and the "screen field label" is not empty in the PreBilt customising settings. Otherwise, the system will use the standard SAP data dictionary to retrieve the appropriate screen field label translation.

Customers should ensure that language translations are maintained for any custom screen fields, function codes and RF message classes.

Function code & exception code long description translations are handled in the PreBilt customising along with any message overrides.
