Voice bin names

Voice-friendly storage bin names can be maintained in transaction /TCTM/EWM_VSETTINGS. This is useful for interim storage bins like staging areas.

When speaking a storage bin name, the system always checks if an entry exists in this table first. Otherwise, it uses the bin name pattern.

Optionally, entries in this table can be maintained for different Personalisation Profiles.

Voice resource attributes

Resource names for voice prompts can be maintained in transaction /TCTM/EWM_VSETTINGS.

Check digits can be assigned to each resource for logon purposes, in case the talkman devices do not have scanners. With this approach, operators can simply speak the check digits which are assigned to a resource to log on to it.
