A Challenge is similar to a Competition, but is associated with the individual participant only.
A Challenge has one or multiple Levels. These Levels allow the Challenge to gradually increase in difficulty.
When a Challenge Level is reached, the participant will be presented with a Trophy. Like Medals, a Trophy can also have a reward associated with it, determined by the game organiser.
Defining a new Challenge involves maintaining the following objects:
A Participation Type which is used to define whether the Challenge is automatically available to all users, manually assigned to a user, or manually selected by an applicable user.
A Metric configuration which defines what the Challenge will be evaluating.
One or multiple Levels, each with a unique Goal at which point the sub-Challenge finishes and a Trophy is awarded to the user.
The Timeframe during which the Challenge is valid. This can either be open ended or defined within a specific start and end period.
