# Installation

{% hint style="info" %}
Note

You have set up EWM analytics by using either the standard configuration options or by creating the necessary Core Data Service (CDS) views to support your KPIs.
{% endhint %}

The PreBilt app installer can be used to install Analytics into the RFUI Customising. Without running the installer, elements of PreBilt for EWM apps are dormant and cannot be used.

The PreBilt for EWM App Installer can be accessed via transaction */TCTM/EWM\_APP\_INST*.

Selection screen guidance:

* The name of the app being installed can be selected through search help.
* The customising prefix will be applied to all logical transaction steps and function codes. The prefix must start with Y or Z and have an alphanumeric value (A-Z or 0-9) in the second character.
* The Presentation Profile, Personalisation Profile etc. options allow the installation to be applied to the desired warehouses, device types etc.
* The import option selections can be checked as appropriate in accordance with the app being installed and customer requirements. Refer to IMG: `Extended Warehouse Management > Mobile Data Entry > Radio Frequency (RF) Framework > Define Steps in Logical Transactions`

After this, the app install will not be executed immediately. A simulation will be performed and the results returned to check the expected outcome. If there are any issues or concerns, the relevant app install parameters or app specific pre-requisites can be checked. If the simulation is satisfactory, pressing the **Install App** icon will install the relevant PreBilt for EWM app.

Depending on the app, some additional steps may be required after installation, such as:

* Addition of new TCTM EWM Screen Field Types (if applicable)
* ITS Template Conversions for PreBilt
* Transaction step configuration for new app screens
* Assignment of new transactions to user menus
