Adding a new screen field

If an existing screen (which is associated with a logical transaction/step) is updated with a new field, there are two ways to incorporate the new field into the TCT screen customisation table:

1. If the change is minor, the ‘New Entries’ button can be selected (while in the Screen Fields node) before manually selecting the new field, or selecting it through the F4 drop-down. The relevant display options can then be defined as normal.

2. If the change is major, such as adding or removing many fields, it can be easier to re-run the screen generation program.

Note

When re-running screen generation, please ensure the ‘Update Fields’ option is disabled, so that any existing field customisations are retained.
