Function code extras

The ‘Function Code Extras’ node allows for the customisation of function codes’ long descriptions displayed in the Kebab menu. This can also be used to include UI5 icons as visual aids and adjust prioritisation for the display order of buttons.

These overrides apply at the generic level, affecting function codes in any Logical Transaction Step/Screen where they are present, unless that specific Logical Transaction Step/Screen has ‘Function Code Overrides’ defined, which take precedence over any generic ‘Function Code Extras’.

Adding an additional long description for a function code

The header description for function codes is taken from standard SAP configuration.

  • Function Code – Define the code requiring customisation.

  • Function Code Long Descriptions – Customisable descriptions for the function code.

  • Icon – Controls the icon displayed next to the function code in the user menu.

  • List Priority – Priority controls display the order of the function codes displayed in the kebab menu. Priority is set in descending order (greatest number is the first entry displayed).

Note

The quantity displayed in the app footer will be in accordance with the number of push buttons defined in the Display Profile and Function Code Profile.

All available function codes are displayed in the kebab menu (the ellipsis icon bottom left of the screen) with the sort order according set to list by priority. For example:
