Import the base framework

Preparation checklist

• Ensure the TCT base framework has been imported#

• Ensure you are clear on the Platform being deployed to

• Workbench and Customizing Transport

• Package to work in (e.g ZTCTM_EWM)

• Service user for SICF nodes

• Naming conventions need to be agreed for:

  • BAdI and enhancement implementations

  • ITS services

  • The new display profile (Y or Z)

  • The new presentation device

Importing the base framework

TCT will provide you a PreBilt for EWM transport as a zip file. Please coordinate with your SAP Basis team to get the transport imported before any subsequent installation/customisation steps can be performed.

Note

The base framework must be imported into each client before any transport are moved.

Because every SAP landscape is setup differently, specific import procedures will have to be discussed with your SAP Basis team and no detailed procedure can be given here.

Check the installation

Check installed package in transaction SE80 under /TCTM/EWM object name. Right click the /TCTM/EWM_APPS subpackage and select 'Additional Functions' -> 'Version Management'. The installed version is displayed.
