Licence manager

PreBilt License Keys are required to be installed for all of the customer’s SAP landscapes relevant to the PreBilt implementation (Development, Quality Assurance and Production System). They allow the customer’s end-users to access PreBilt from their handheld devices and/or desktop.

The License Key is based on the following details in the Statement of Work/ provided by the customer:

• SAP Installation Number (for all environments)

• No of licenses (Statement of Work)

• Valid Until date (based on Statement of Work - 6 weeks after project kick-off or installation in QA environment. Whichever is earliest)

• Product: PreBilt EWM

• Package: PreBilt EWM.

To maintain control of licensing in PreBilt implementations, an additional transaction /TCTM/WM_LICENSE, is provided to manage users.

From this screen it is possible to maintain current active users in the system. An administrator can select a user and deactivate or delete.

Given licensing is not billed until the trigger commences (6 weeks from start date or installation into QA environment), The Config Team provides a temporary licence key for the customer Development system with a 6-8 week validity date.

Once the licence invoice trigger occurs, licence keys will be provided for all SAP environments specific to the details in Stage 1. These will last for the duration of the agreed licensing period and include the agreed end users

Uploading a licence

The licence file will be provided by TCT as a text file which can then be uploaded to the SAP system using the 'Upload New License File' to update the licensing in that system.

View user packages

The apps that a user is licensed to use can be found by selecting the user and clicking the 'View Packages' icon.

To deactivate a user, select the user and then select the ‘Deactivate’ icon:
