PreBilt EWM Licenses Overview
PreBilt License Keys are required in all SAP landscapes relevant to the PreBilt implementation (Development, Quality Assurance, and Production). These keys enable end-users to access PreBilt from handheld terminals.
License Key Details are based on the Statement of Work (SOW) or customer-provided information:
SAP Installation Number (for all environments)
Number of Licenses (as per SOW)
Validity: 6 weeks after project kick-off or installation in QA, whichever is earlier
Product: PreBilt EWM
Package: PreBilt EWM
EWM License Manager
To maintain licensing control, transaction /TCTM/EWM_LICENSE is provided.
The EWM license manager allows you to view:
SAP Installation Number
License Validity Dates
Available vs. Used Licenses
License Users
Activation Date
Last Used Date
Temporary License Key
Since billing starts 6 weeks after project kick-off or QA installation, the Config Team provides a temporary license key for the Development system with a 6–8 week validity.
PreBilt License Keys (Dev, QA & Prod System)
Once the invoice trigger occurs, license keys for all SAP environments will be issued based on the specific details outlined in the PreBilt EWM Licenses Overview, including the agreed licensing period and end-users.
Uploading a licence
TCT provides the license file as a text file, which can be uploaded into the SAP system.
The file is typically located in the SharePoint project folder or provided directly by the Project Manager. Once you have obtained the file, ensure it is unzipped and saved to your desktop.
Run transaction /TCTM/EWM_LICENSE
Click 'Upload New License File'
Select the File: Locate the license file saved on your desktop (or designated folder). Click Execute to complete the upload.
Follow the same process using the relevant license key for each SAP environment (Dev, QA, and Prod).
