An implementation of the WORKORDER_UPDATE BADI is required to activate the CodingControl functionality.
Path: SPRO->Production Planning for Process Industries -> Process Order -> System Modifications -> Business Add-Ins -> BAdI: Order Change
NOTE: Even though the path above is specific to Process Orders, the BAdI is relevant for all order categories.
Select 'Create Implementation'. A popup box with display the existing implementations.
Select the TICK to continue.
Enter the relevant details as a name for the implementation, and Click Green Tick to continue. Example shown below.
Enter a name for the BAdI Implementation, and enter the Implementation Class as: ‘/TCTCC/WORKORDER_UPDATE_BADI’. Note: This class is delivered as part of the TCTCC CodingControl Add-on installation and provides the functionality to automatically determine, check, generate and distribute the coding data when orders are created or changed.
Click Green Tick to continue.
The Implementation is created and displayed on screen in an inactivate state. Select the ‘Activate’ to activate.
The object is now active and the Runtime Behavior will indicate either ‘The implementation will be called’ or ‘Implementation is called’ depending on your version of SAP.
Back out and return to the configuration will display the newly created implementation. The implementation can be deactivated at any time by unchecking the 'Active (IMG)' check box.
Note: The implementation should be transported through the landscape to the production environment.
