# Core Application Configuration

The overall CodingControl™ solution consists of interfaces and an SAP program developed by The Config Team to allow data transfer from SAP to Coding and Marking devices. The vast majority of manufacturing companies running SAP have no integration between their SAP system and their coding devices. With Coding Control companies will have a direct link from SAP to the coding devices decreasing human errors due to manually entry.

This section will detail the installation of the PAT file (Pattern Image File) into a SAP system, and the activation of the BADI and Business Configuration set (BC Set) required for CodingControl to work. It will then step through the installation and associated configuration of each area of the CodingControl™.
