# ODBC Database

CodingControl™ ODBC Server database is used to store all configured relevant order information to support the successful processing of both CodingControl™ and APS (Auto Palletiser Solution) order information exchanged with line level device equipment (Via the windows service & plugin), as well as SAP order or material master data configured as part of the template determination output process and BAdI implementation.

:information\_source:The ‘default’ table structure displayed interacts with the windows service to validate, create, update order information.

Microsoft SQL Server ODBC database is the common ODBC used but CodingControl does have the capability to support and interact with the majority of other ODBC databases.
