Template Fields and Data Content

Data templates ensure consistency of data for materials and information sent to output devices.

CodingControl comes pre-configured with a standard set of SAP data sources table definitions that can be used to configured to template fields.

This provides direct access for CodingControl to read or select SAP master data into its framework with no impact or affect on the data if any conversions or changes are applied as this will only take place within the CodingControl template fields during processing.

Templates offer flexibility and capability to:

1. Be Utilized across material groups or single materials

2. Read data direct from SAP system fields.

3. Formatting can be applied to data to determine output.

4. Multiple fields can be joined to create single field output.

A plant can have many templates which can have many fields which can have many field parts.
