IDoc or Intermediate Document is a standard SAP document form format. IDocs can be created within SAP and sent to other systems external to SAP.
From the right-hand screen double-click on the Define Communication to Resource/Work Centres option.
Select the change icon.
Select 'New Entries'.
Enter the work center that will use the method being configured if known. 'f4' is supported to search for the work center, the work center must exist on the system to be selectable and configurable.
Select 'IDOC' from the 'Com Meth' drop-down list.
Select or enter the required ‘RFC Destination’ option. See the 'Windows service RFC Destination' section for more details.
Select the Com Method: 'IDOC'
Once these values have been entered press ‘Enter’ to confirm values. Additional fields will become available, these are to configure the IDOC output processing functionality.
The following information is required:
IDOC Creation Class: /TCTCC/IDOC_OUTPUT
The class is the ABAP code used to collate all the order information configured as part of the output template and use std SAP processing and configuration to generate and output an IDOC message.
Rec.Partn.Type: US
(User) created partner type
Parttn no. CONFIGTEAM
SAP std to determine IDOC direction (inbound or Outbound) as well as IDOC message type configuration and port to either send or receive data depending on IDOC direction.
