# Windows Service RFC Destination

The RFC destination has to be created so that the windows service can register with SAP and provide direct two-way communications.

Navigate to transaction SM59. Select to highlight the ‘TCP/IP connections’ option and select Create.

1. Enter the name for the RFC Destination, and enter descriptions 1 and 2.\

   :information\_source: Description 1 will be the value presented for selection when selecting RFC Destination when accessing the CodingControl™ cockpit, Description 2 is not referenced and will only be for information.<br>
2. Under the ‘Technical Settings’ tab select the ‘Registered Server Program’ radio button and enter the ‘Program ID’ value matching the Description 1 value from the above stage.\

3. Select the Unicode tab and Unicode radio button. All other tabs and values do not need to be amended.
4. Select ‘Enter’ then ‘Save’ to confirm all values.
