The CodingControl configuration application acts and the main connection hub between manufacturing and the SAP instance.
The Service itself once installed as default contains the available configuration elements:
--SAP--
This is the connection type that will be used to exchange information with the SAP system. --RFC Server--
All connection details relating to the RFC Server that will be used during data exchange and processing during production activity. --RFC Client--
Credentials configured if processing onto system is to be carried out using specific client \ user details when processing data. --Database--
Configured ODBC connection details to selected SQL server data source, the ‘Data source table’ and ‘key field’ used to ensure correct data processed. --Data Secure Login--
Login credentials for SQL server. --Log Display settings--
Customer Configurable message display settings. --Log Archive settings--

In order to ensure continual connectivity to both the ODBC database and defined SAP system a specific service can also be defined. This will then support the automatic posting and management of all data processed by CodingControl automatically.
