# Windows Server Core Application Installation

The installation requires the core program to be installed before the individual plugins for the coding and vision equipment manufacturers.

:information\_source: The CodingControl executable should be provided by the Config Team project team.

1. Double-click on the installation program file.\
   \
   :information\_source: **Ensure the required authorizations before continuing with the installation.**<br>
2. If authorized to install select 'More Info' and select 'Run anyway', if not then select 'Don't run' as even though the installation process will continue the application will not be installed.<br>
3. The setup wizard should now start and step through the installation process. <br>

4. Select 'Next' to continue.<br>

5. The proposed destination folder can be changed from the proposed default if required.
6. If you are upgrading the package and the service is currently running you will receive a prompt to close the current application.<br>

7. Once the installation is complete select the 'Finish' button.<br>
