The Field Type controls the behaviour of a field’s input or display. By assigning a specific Field Type, the way PreBilt treats the field, enables a certain input or display can be controlled.

Time
Time formatting.
UOMS
Unit of measure selection
Enhanced UoM selection popup.
Prerequisite
Field Types must first be defined in maintenance view /TCTM/VEWM_FLTYP which a cross-client table (i.e. workbench).
