Defaulting a parameter value

These fields can be used to define a default value that will populate an entry field on the device.

Example

The screenshot below shows the configuration set in Log. Transaction INSTBI, Step INSTSB.

Default value option has the following settings:

A – Always Set – replace any value in the field with the value defined in ‘Default Value’.

B – Only Set When Blank – only replace blank fields with the value defined in ‘Default Value’.

C – Clear any Input – clear content of any pre-populated fields.
