# Testing and validation

### Testing Process <a href="#testing-process" id="testing-process"></a>

* Perform unit testing in the development system to ensure basic functionality.
* Conduct regression testing to validate that customisations and new functionalities work as expected.
* The customer should sign off on the testing before moving to production.

### Responsible Parties <a href="#responsible-parties" id="responsible-parties"></a>

* Implementation Team: Responsible for the physical upgrade of the system and unit testing, development validation, and project management.
* Users: Responsible for regression testing, sign-off, and final validation before production.

### Validation Criteria <a href="#validation-criteria" id="validation-criteria"></a>

* Ensure basic functionality through unit testing.
* Validate customisations and new functionalities through regression testing.
* Customer sign-off on testing results.
