# Maximum records in search

It is possible in some apps to limit the number of records passed back from the selection.

The configuration option should always start with ‘MAX\_’ followed by the appropriate object reference.

It is usually setup as a String. Examples are:

* MAX\_OBD
* MAX\_MATERIAL
* MAX\_TO
