# Functionality

A plant can have many storage locations associated and configured against it, which can be to set as ‘active’ or ‘not active’, providing the ability to centrally manage the access of stock within those storage locations by linking them all to one PreBilt warehouse.

There is specific configuration, in addition to the usual PreBilt configuration as well as the technical activations of the two MIGO BAdi and the PI enhancement point, that needs to be done to activate the IM Multi Bin functionality.

Using the supplied SAP transaction */TCTM/IMB\_CFG,* the following areas should be setup:

* Plant and storage locations relevant for IM Multi Bin need to be activated. These should be assigned in the usual PreBilt configuration to a specific PreBilt warehouse number.
* Bins can be created in the bin table and maintained as required. Alternatively these can be maintained with SAP transaction */TCTM/IMB\_LAGP.*
* Stock records in the bins can be manually added or maintained as required. Alternatively these can be maintained with SAP transaction */TCTM/IMB\_LQUA.*
* The movement types that will trigger the MIGO BAdi can be activated. Alternatively these can be maintained with SAP transaction */TCTM/IMB\_BWART.*
