Functionality

The app relates to the standard SAP transactions:

The following standard functionality is in scope for Inspection lot overview:

• Generic functionality:

  • Selection of inspection lots by plant, material (full or partial), batch, vendor, manufacturer, inspection lot dates, and inspection start dates.

  • Material and vendor search supporting partial‑value input with F4 search help to refine selections.

  • Validation of entered selection criteria, including checking plant assignment, verifying materials, vendors, manufacturers, and validating date ranges.

  • Display of inspection lots in a list screen using configurable fields from structures such as QALS and QAVE, including material description, vendor name, manufacturer name, and system status.

  • Summary header information showing aggregated values when all results share the same attribute.

  • Configurable sorting of list results via App Master Data settings.

  • Drill‑down to a detail screen showing full inspection‑lot information (e.g., material, batch, UD code, system status, manufacturer, purchase order).

  • Optional display of transfer requirement and material document numbers (if configured).

• Filtering and search behaviour:

  • Material search behaviour controlled via MATERIAL_SEARCH_SEQ (material number, description, EAN).

  • Plant filtering supported via PLANT_FILTER and PLANT_LIST configuration.

  • Ability to restrict results using start‑date and created‑date ranges.

  • Additional selection options supporting released / UD status filtering (All UD, With UD, Without UD).

• User navigation:

  • Users may select an inspection lot from the list screen to navigate to the Inspection Lot Detail screen.

  • From the detail screen, users may return via the BACK action or link to other apps where configured (see Integrations section).

The following actions can be completed by linking to other apps (full details of the functionality available can be found in the app overview guide for the referenced app):

• Ability to trigger Stock Movements app for putaway activities where MOVE_QUANT or CREATE_TO is configured.

• Ability to jump to Document Capture for attaching or viewing documents related to the inspection lot.
