Exceptions

This section explains the processes that the Inspection Lot Overview app does not currently cover.

• Creation or modification of inspection lots — the app displays inspection lots but does not create or update them.

• Creation of Transfer Requirements or Transfer Orders — although the app can navigate to Stock Movements (if configured), it does not itself create or manage WM documents.

• Editing inspection lot data — all fields displayed on the overview and detail screens are read‑only and cannot be changed.

• Displaying or editing inspection characteristics — the app does not show operations or characteristics; it is limited to header‑level inspection‑lot data. (Characteristics are handled in App 560.) Triggering follow‑on QM actions such as partial lots, splits, defect recording, sampling decisions, or valuation updates.

• Document output or printing of inspection‑lot details. (Document capture links are supported, but not printing.)
