# User Guide

**Note**

This user guide refers to PreBilt transactions beginning '*PB2\_*' and details the standard process without additional features or enhancements. You should [copy these transactions](/prebilt-for-im-wm-strm/configuration-guide/transaction-codes.md#create-a-transaction) with a different prefix to maintain a backup and protect the originals.

The Document Capture app will normally be accessed from other apps.  The selection screen will not be displayed when the app is called from another PreBilt app. This guide will detail how to use the app when accessed directly.

This section covers transaction *PB2\_CAP\_IMAGES* and *PB2\_CAP\_SIGN*.

**Note**

Currently the standalone versions of these transactions are not supported. It is envisioned that the standard **Document Capture** app 602 will be used for standalone processing of documents once the document has been created. These transactions should only be called from the apps which have have been updated to be able to call them, namely **General Postings** and certain **Plant Maintenance** apps.

### Selection

Enter the required selection criteria for the specific delivery to be processed. Fields marked with a red asterisk (<mark style="color:red;">\*</mark>) are mandatory.

After pressing **'Select'**, choose the attachment to be processed from the attachment list.&#x20;

Depending on configuration, there will be different options in the footer of the screen. Where multiple documents are required, tapping **'Continue'** will enable you to add all attachments as per the app configuration, or they can be added one by one selecting the relevant option from the kebab menu. If only a single type of document is required, a button such as **'Capture Images'** will be shown in the footer of the screen to capture this document.

### Document maintenance

If the minimum number of images or signatures is greater than 0, a pop up appears for you to add that document to the delivery.

If it is not mandatory to capture a image or signature, you can choose add one by selecting the **'Capture...'** button. You can also edit the default file name.

Tapping **'Save'** will save the image or signature.  If it is not required to add an document to the document, you can tap **'Skip'**.

After tapping **'Save'**, the attachment list will be updated.

Tapping the **'X'** icon next to a document in the item list will delete it from the attachment list and SAP.
